As an example of getting a license at creative common, i went to their website and looked at all the license’s one can get to put with their art ( http://creativecommons.org/about/licenses ).
There are 6 different types of licences one can get: attribution, attribution share alike, attribution share alike e.t.c I chose the attribution because it seems the right one for me. It makes outsider artist to conform to the original artists morals. It also allows the original work to be shared, mixed and sampled. It also seems to be a simpler and easier to understand license that the others.
I applied the graphic one would use to show they support creative commons on the band I’m in’s myspace ( www.myspace.com/halfnelsonband )
